Our Vision
Norken Training Department has been the core part of the Appropriate Technology Department. Our vision as practicing Engineering Consultancy firm is to share our knowledge and experience to promote and enhance competency through practical training seminars and events that reflect the latest thinking in the construction industry
Target Group
Our target group has been and continue to be Management and supervisory staff of both the Public and private sector operators in the construction industry. Two levels of training have been identified
- Basic Level – training at this level focusses mainly on new entrants to the construction industry, these includes small scale contractors registered with NCA at Categories 8 – 6; new Diploma of building and civil engineering graduates, Master craftsmen who have been in the industry but would like to graduate to next level.
- Advance Level – training at this level targets Engineers and other professional as part of the continuous development CPD as required by the different industry regulatory bodies such as Engineer Board of Kenya EBK
Registration with training regulatory authority
Norken International Ltd is registered with both The National Industrial Training Authority – NITA and the National Construction Authority – NCA as a training provider. Annual Calendar training courses provided by Norken is circulated to all contractors registered with NCA.
About the Trainers
Norken International Ltd is Management and Engineering Consultancy firm which offers a wide range of services in a spectrum of sectors covering all phases of normal project cycle. These range from feasibility studies; detailed design through project implementation to actual operation and maintenance. Our training team consists of Professional Engineers and Technologists with excellent training delivery credentials complemented with practical real-world experience.
